One of the best places to stop by on a trip to the US is at Bath & Body Works. It truly is body care heaven and I wish they’d make their way over to Europe asap (some countries already have B&BW stores). It’s maybe a good thing you can only bring 23kg on the plane because B&BW would probably ruin me, even though they have great deals all the time. I got this Tokyo Lotus Apple Blossom body lotion as part of a 3 for $10 deal, which is an absolute bargain we can only dream of here.

The travel sized body lotion has just the perfect size for when you’re going on a trip. The packaging looks bright & fun and has a bright pink cap you can click to open. The body lotion itself has a soft pink colour, a hint at the pink/white colours of the apple blossom. Yes, for once we’re talking about apple blossoms instead of cherry blossoms. Apple blossoms are generally less famous, yet they are still very widespread in Japan.

The formula of the lotion looks thick in the bottle, yet is very liquid, making it easy to spread over the skin. It also helps the skin to absorb it fast, ideal for when you’re in a hurry. Why do I mention this? I dare you to moisturize and try to get into your skinny jeans when you’re already late in the morning. I dare you. Lol. Afterwards my skin feels really soft and moisturized thanks to the shea butter and vitamin E, exactly what I would expect of a body lotion.

Top Notes: Blue Iris, Boysenberry, White Peach, Cherry Red Lotus, Mandarin Zest
Mid Notes: White Magnolia, Peony Petals, Japanese Apple Blossom
Dry Notes: Sandalwood, Teakwood

Now the real plus size to this product is probably it’s scent. This smells really good you guys! I’m afraid to use it because I don’t want it to run out. It smells very fresh, zesty & woody, not really your typical sweet floral sakura scent. And that’s exactly why I think this is a great addition to my Sakura collection. Scents are really hard to get across, but if you happen to pop into a B&BW store soon, make sure you give this one a try.
