It’s been 10 years since Kate Moss first became the face of Britain’s biggest cosmetics brand, Rimmel. Reason enough for them to celebrate and launch a brand new lipstick collection designed by la Moss herself!
Kate’s love for the brand goes back a long way, she once confided that its famous Heather Shimmer shade was the first lipstick she ever bought. And since she also has been born and raised in London, it’s no surprise she was chosen as thé face of Rimmel London 10 years ago and still is to this day. What better way to take a collaboration to the next level than getting to create your own (lipstick) range? The new Lasting Finish Lipstick collection is the first collection created by Kate Moss, the ultimate London girl.
Kate about her new lipstick collection: “My inspiration for this range was really to create a range of easy to wear, classic shades that I have always worn and loved. From bright reds, to soft pinks and nudes, there is a shade for everyone and any occasion. It was also really important for me that they were also comfortable to wear. Whatever your outfit there is sure to be a shade to match!”
The Long Lasting Finish lipstick range consists of 6 gorgeous shades, of which 4 particularly embody Kate’s own style. Her favorite color is without doubt 01; the flaming red color she’s wearing in the ad. My personal favorites are shades 05 and 07 because they are wearable during any occasion. I particularly love the fact that the lipsticks are all so incredibly creamy, which makes them perfect to wear now that the temperatures are dropping. And not only are the lipstick shades gorgeous, the packaging is too! Kate worked closely with Rimmel to design a chic matte black pack that perfectly represents her glamorous rock ‘n roll style.
