Look for Etude House’s most popular products and surely, the Etude House Wonder Pore Freshner will pop up. This all-in-one K-beauty toner has many peeps with combo to oily skin hooked, so as a toner addict, I had to give this a try.
The way you use toners is simple; after (double) cleansing your face, add some product onto a cotton pad and gently wipe it across your face to remove any remaining gunk and prep the skin for the next steps. If you’re not using a toner already, perhaps the long list of claimed benefits of the Wonder Pore Freshener can convince you.

A glance at the ingredients list reveals that this toner is alcohol based and therefore should be avoided by people with normal to dry skin. Despite the high alcohol content, my (combo) skin doesn’t feel dehydrated after use, although I wouldn’t use it in the Winter time. Afterwards, the skin feels cool and refreshed, but you will have to follow up with a hydrating product so your skin doesn’t produce more sebum. It will definitely feel smoother compared to when you wouldn’t use a toner, but nothing revolutionary.
The skin texture will feel more refined and pores might appear just a little smaller, but it will take more than this toner for an actual deep cleanse. If you do have oily skin and don’t mind the alcohol, the Etude House Wonder Pore Freshner might help to reduce the greasy sticky feeling, especially during Summer. For me though, this is just not the right product.
