The launch of the Origins Original Skin Cleansing Makeup Removing Jelly was a bit overshadowed by another launch within the same Original Skin line. Yes I’m looking at you, Pore Perfecting Cooling Primer! I have yet to try it but a foaming primer does look intriguing.

Son & Park Beauty Water

The Son & Park Beauty Water is no stranger to anyone that has a slightest bit of interest in K-beauty. Ever since it launched, it has been the center of attention when it comes to k-beauty fan favourites. Part of the hype is because this was created by two famous South-Korean makeup artists; Son Day Sik and Park Tae Yun. But to find the reason for its success, we’ll have to investigate a little further.

Isle Of Paradise Self Tanning

Nothing as intriguing and scary to this fair skinned girl as fake tanning. When Isle of Paradise showed up on my insta-feed, I thought it was about time to take my (gradient) tanning routine to the next step. The colourful millennial-minded brand was founded by celebrity tanning expert Jules Von Hep, who has a decade of experience in the field. Its aesthetic has a bit of a Colourpop vibe and its also vegan, organic and cruelty-free.

Starskin Behind The Scenes Balancing Mask

Starskin was one of the Western pioneers to jump on the sheet mask bandwagon and it certainly paid off. By combining one of Korea’s hottest export products with the desire to have amazing skin like the stars, this Dutch brand instantly put itself on the luxury beauty map. Indeed luxury, as the sheet masks don’t come cheap at roughly € 10 a piece. In return, you do get a sheet mask with an incredible good fit that feels like second skin.
