When it comes to cleansing I’m the biggest advocate of ‘me-time‘. It doesn’t matter if you’re taking a 5 minute shower or soak in the tub for an hour; it shouldn’t feel like a chore but something to look forward to. Take that precious time and instead of thinking about all of the things that happened or still need to be done, empty your head and give your body the pampering it deserves. Everything else can wait.

My partner in crime/weapon of choice lately? Nivea Silk Mousse nourishing shower foam, a delicate and fluffy texture which promises a “unique shower sensation”. View Post

As the temperatures rise with Summer coming up, so does the chance of humidity destroying your perfectly coiffed coupe as soon as you’re out the door. In case you’re headed somewhere hot and humid, SPF is not the only thing you’re going to need. Enter the Redken Frizz Dismiss range of anti-humidity, smoothing haircare products with FPF (Frizz Protection Factor). There’s 4 levels of FPF allowing you to choose protection from frizzy hair based on your hair type and humidity level. Using the Redken Frizz Dismiss shampoo and conditioner followed up by a product with FPF 30 is said to reduce frizziness up to 85%! View Post

Ever since I was introduced to S-Korean/French hybrid Erborian and fell in love with their BB cream, I’ve been looking forward to see what they would come up with next. The Bamboo range sounded like it was right up my alley. The star of the range is the Erborian Bamboo Waterlock mask; a refreshing aquagel moisture mask enriched with a unique complex of bamboo sap and fibres to help skin feel smoothed, hydrated and plumped with water. As gel masks and moisturizers are all the rage right now (also check out my review of the Nature Republic Super Aqua Max Watery Cream), so I was curious to give this take from Erborian a try. Who remembers my post about the massive beauty line H&M dropped almost 2 years ago? Since then I have tested quite a few of their products (but still not nearly enough – 700 references yikes!), but there’s one specific product I’d like to put in the spotlight today; the H&M Infinite Impact Eye Colour aka the mono eyeshadows. In my honest opinion these did not get nearly enough attention and praise on the interwebz, because let me tell you; at this price point, these shadows are bomb! View Post
