If you’ve been a long-time reader of this blog you’ll know I love the Sensual range from Kenzoki (proof: here & here). So when I received this Kenzoki Sensual Hands Balm at an event, I knew I was going to be in for a treat. The comforting rice scent is simply divine, which is why this is my current go-to hand cream before I go to bed. Normally I prefer a more heavy-duty hand cream to let it soak in while I sleep though, but it’s still buttery enough to get the job done.
To work its magic, it relies on 4 ingredients:
-Rice plant essence: Relieves redness and increases the feeling of skin elasticity
-Shorea butter: Softens and hydrates
-Antarctica extract: Softens, soothes, and provides antioxidant protection
-Okoumyrrhine: Protects and strengthens nails
Ingredients: Water, Coco-Caprylate/Caprate, Cetearyl Alcohol, Pentylene Glycol, Fragrance, Glyceryl Stearate, Glycerin, Dimethicone, Oryza Sativa (Rice) Bran Water, Theobroma Grandiflorum Seed Butter, Phenoxyethanol, Cetyl Palmitate, Cocoglycerides, Ceteareth-20, Carbomer, Tocopheryl Acetate, Shorea Robusta Seed Butter, Sodium Hydroxide, Bht, Pseudoalteromonas Ferment Extract, Coumarin, Citronellol, Tocopherol, Linalool, Caprylyl Glycol.
The Kenzoki Sensual Hands Balm is not the richest one that I have tried, but it’s definitely one I enjoy. Partly because of it’s relaxing scent, but also the non-greasy, velvety finish it leaves after application, which makes it a good option for on-the-go as well. It’s quite pricey, so it’s more of a treat-yourself kinda hand cream than a purse staple. For that, I will keep relying on L’Occitane and & Other Stories who both have scents that are equally amazing for € 5 (30 ml).
